Have you been to the Talk to frank website set up by the Government in the UK. It is supposed to tell people the truth about drugs but misses all of the facts except for the few that they want to tell you about. According to Frank there are only 5 effects to come from smoking cannabis as listed below 1. Paranoia 2. Panic attacks 3. Pukey (meaning to white out) 4. Giggles 5. The Munchies but as we know there are much more facts and effects to be considered In this Forum post I will try to tell you the truth about cannabis, tobacco and the different effects that can be expected but without the one sided biased information that the government likes to spout. Firstly you have to realize that there are different types and strengths of cannabis out there in the same way that there are different strengths and types of alcohol but as alcohol is not shrouded in secrecy people tend to know that there would be a completely different effect when you drink a pint of Fosters as apposed to the effects if you were to drink a pint of Whiskey which is approximately 8 times stronger. In a very similar way, engineered skunk weed that was developed by the Dutch has flooded the UK market and is approximately 6 times stronger than ordinary cannabis. This happened because the British government tightened up customs and as skunk weed is so easy to grow at home, people switched to that rather than nothing so in a way it is due to the British Government that the UK is now flooded with the strongest and newest strain of the drug. Also the Skunk weed has a different chemical composition to normal cannabis meaning that people under the age of 16 or susceptible to Psychosis would be putting their self in danger of suffering long term effects if they were to smoke skunk weed where as normal cannabis has a very different non psychotic effect. Even adults could be at risk if they only smoke Skunk weed, consuming high amounts over a sustained period where as with normal cannabis there has never been any record of this happening. In cannabis there are 2 main cannabonoids namely THC and CBD these 2 chemicals are found in approx equal amounts in all normal cannabis. The well known THC was always thought to be the chemical needed to get you stoned but recently CBD was found to be an anti psychotic. skunk weed was engineered by the Dutch to have as much THC in it as possible and like always when you mess around with nature something always seems to go wrong in the end. While increasing the THC level to this high level they inadvertently decreased the CBD level to virtually zero upsetting the natural balance that the cannabis plant normally maintains causing psychotic problems in some users. In my opinion skunk weed is not cannabis because 1) it is man made, 2) The chemical balance is different. 3) It has very a different effect on the user to any cannabis that exists. My advise is to be very careful when using any artificial or super strong drug like skunk weed. It is not cannabis and should not be mistaken for it. In test conditions a subject was given a Psychiatric evaluation by registered Psychiatrist and then injected intravenously with neat THC and shortly after wards given another evaluation. The subject did show lots of signs of paranoia and Psychosis. On a scale of 0 to 15 where 0 is non psychotic and above 5 is considered Psychotic the Psychiatrist gave her a rating of 0 before the drug was administered and 14 after while she was experiencing the full effects The next day the subject was evaluated to make sure she was completely OK and returned a rating of 0 and then given the same amount of THC but this time she was also given an equal amount of CBD and on testing again she returned a Psychotic value of 1 and he said this was classed as negligible. This outlines how the British Government in their ignorance are putting the public at risk by not telling the whole truth The Tobacco issue From the experiences of our research team we have discovered that if you smoke cannabis with tobacco you get an entirely different effect to when you smoke it on its own through a pipe or bong. We have found through extensive tests and trials that a smoker could smoke a bong with hashish in it and then another with some weed and be fine but that same person another day smoking half of that amount in a joint with tobacco whites out and ends up on the floor feeling quite ill for about half an hour or so until they straighten up a bit and we found conclusively that tobacco is the main cause of most or all of the ill effects experienced. Now I am going to list some of the effects experienced by cannabis users as lots of people with different ailments benefit greatly when it is available to them. 1. Relaxing 2. The giggles 3. hightened senses, eg eyesight and hearing 4. Munchies 5. good for pain relief 6. Good in a lot of cases for MS sufferers 7. Helps greatly to prevent muscle spazams 8. constipation relief Please go to our Video Page and watch some of the documentary's for a true and accurate views by doctors and scientists and see some of the research that has been put in to the subject and you willl be able to see for yourselves that what I am saying is true and that the most Dangrous thing about any drug is ignorance. Some things to consider Paracetamol are available in your local shop by anyone 16 years old or over but if you eat a box full they will cause permanent damage to most of your organs and you will die! These are considered safe because people know not to take too many but not made illegal because of how deadly they are. Alcohol Is available in most shops now days to anyone 18 or over and too much of that will cause liver damage, alcohol poisoning and death but people are trusted to treat it with respect as it is a highly addictive drug and quite dangerous. but if you take too much cannabis you pass out for a while and wake up once it has worn off a bit. It's like it almost regulates you and also there have never been amy recorded deaths due to cannabis overdose. it just dosen't happen therefor cannabis is one of the safest drugs known but it remains a criminal offence to take it. Where is the sense in that. Hemp is the overall name for the Cannabis or marijuana plant and has been for hundreds of years and until 1915 Hemp was used to make paper in the UK. That is why old books do not rot but newer books degrade quickly and are much harder to preserve. another positive for the Cannabis plant Some things that can be made from Hemp From hemp you can make Rope, plumbers jointing hemp, diesel, petrol, soap, wall insulation, boiler fuel, very strong paper, denim that is 10 times stronger that cotton, denim for jeans, Plastic, and a whole multitude of other things. I am pleased to say that the UK government either have taken what I said on board or finally seen for themselves what we were talking about in this thread and the silly add with the big alien eyes that everyone was laughing about has not been aired since i put the Talk to Frank about Drugs? post on here. Hopefully they have read all of the information on the rest of the site and watched the Video documentary's and if they have they would know how much money is wasted every year trying to stop people from taking a relatively harmless drug, then they could use the money for more serious matters like sorting out the UK in this time of great recession, or even depression. The Polish government tried an experiment and found that they saved a Phenomenal amount of money when they didn't have to spend it on trying to stop cannabis use and the cost of putting someone using a drug less harmful that headache tablets in prison. A scenario to explain the amounts of money wasted in this way A man gets caught for selling or growing cannabis, 7 police officers put in for overtime so they can do the 5am morning raid on his house He goes to court. The police officers attend, and get paid for that. Well, i wouldn't expect them to do it for nothing but none the less that's more money spent. Because it could be custodial the man automatically gets Legal aid, and rightly so as it's his liberty at steak, but still, that is more money spent chasing cannabis. He gets 5 years in prison. Apparently it costs somewhere in the region of 300 UK Pounds per day to keep him in prison, that was reports on the news a few years ago so it is probably more now but for this scenario we will go with the £300 per day that's 5 years, that's 1826 days allowing for a leap year. 1826 days multiplied by £300 comes to £547800 this is just the prison time, not even counting the money spent on the police and courts etc. So they are happy to spend well in excess of half a million pounds on stopping the use of a drug that has been proved time and time again by scientists to be less harmful than tobacco alcohol aspirin paracetamol and virtually every other drug that you can buy from the local newspaper shop to name just a few and they wonder why the national debt is spiraling out of control. The Polish government worked out that they would save something in the region of £10,000,000,000 yes, that's £10 Billion! if they stopped chasing Cannabis users. When cannabis was made illegal in America in 1915 it was to do with the prohibition laws. When alcohol (a very dangerous and addictive drug) was legalized again it was solely due to the invention of the motorcar and the oil trade that stopped the relatively harmless cannabis plant from becoming legalized again because the plant is so easy to grow and produces so much oil which can very easily be used for Fuel for the cars . Oil, money, power. The same old story but now it is costing everyone dearly. It can also be used to make Rag, Denim, soap, plastic, medicine for Glucoma, MS etc and they have even found that it can regress cancer!! and there are many more uses for it so none of it would need be wasted hemp paper is much stronger than paper made from wood, it used to be called rag paper but they had to change to the paper we use now because of the prohibition laws. When the new British library archives were being built because the old one is so damp, a reporter asked the man in charge of the library if it was to keep the old books safe and was told that it was to put the newer books in. He explained that the old books made from rag paper didn't rot in the same way and the pages could be washed clean using a damp sponge where as the new books were falling apart because they are so delicate. If you were to watch the video documentary's you would see how cannabis can help people with lots of different illnesses where nothing else can come close Why cant the UK Government show the world that they can accept the documented and proven facts from the scientists and do what would be best for EVERYONE. Professor David Nutt, drugs adviser sacked for giving honest professional oppinion about drug use.check out this link for a prime example of how the UK Government will not see sense even when it is a well respected scientist and their own advisers telling them the truth about cannabis. Now that Colorado has decriminalized the use of cannabis and paraphernalia like pipes and small bongs and so has Denver and callifornia, hopefully people are now at last taking this issue serioussly looking at facts so the UK can follow and do what is right. I do not mean to do what is right to win votes but actually in the best interests of the population. |

Lets hope they get to me soon |

as long as people like us keep telling people the truth about cannabis there may be a chance it will happen. If a plant were discovered now it would be an amazing discovery with its strong fiberous qualities making it perfect to make very strong rope, denim at approximately ten times stronger than denim made from cotton. Its amazing pain relief and muscle relaxant qualities that are perfect for treating MS sufferers. I know some personally and I can tell you IT DOSE HELP! It can produce oil that can be used for all industrial purposes including running car engines. It can be used to make animal bedding, fiberglass wall insulation alternative and as fiberglass inhalation has been proved to cause lung cancer like asbestos why didn't they use this stuff ages ago. there are hundreds of positives for legalizing cannabis and eventually any intelligent people will realize with a bit of education on the truth about drugs and marijuana |
